Frequently Asked Questions

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive to the Asylum Chapel by no later than 11:45 am as the ceremony will start at midday!

Can I bring my kids?

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, our nieces and nephews will be the only children attending on the day!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, unless specified on your invite, no additional guests can be accommodated.

Is there a dress code?

There’s no specific dress code. Please wear standard wedding attire!

Are there any colours I should avoid wearing?

No! Please feel free to wear any and all colours you like!

And as neither of us will be wearing a wedding dress please feel free to wear white if that’s what you’d like to do!

Will there be a transfer to The Lordship Pub?

Yes! There will be a private bus taking us from the Asylum Chapel to The Lordship Pub.

What is the parking situation?

There is limited parking at the Asylum Chapel so we don’t advise driving to the ceremony. There is some on street parking around the residential Dulwich area which is free but subject to availability.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Depending on the weather, some parts of the day could be outside, for example photographs and canapés & drinks at the Asylum Chapel. Also there is a beer garden at the Lordship Pub which might be used if the weather is good!

What time shall I go home/how will I get home?

The Lordship Pub closes at midnight. It is near a bus stop which take you into central London & other places. Alternatively Uber is readily available or you could pre-book a taxi through other companies.

If you’re not sure talk to either of us!

Who should I contact if I have any questions?
